Jessica Coffin, LCMHC

Jessica Coffin is a licensed clinical mental health counselor.  She received double masters in psychology and mental health counseling with a specialization in forensic counseling.  She is a member of Psi Chi honors society.  Jessica is a certified domestic violence treatment provider and has experience working with domestic violence perpetrators and survivors, as well as individuals who are intellectually handicapped.  She is a member of the local domestic violence coalition.

Jessica is skilled in addressing a variety of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, trauma , personality disorders, impulse control, body image disorders, and issues associated with parenting and interpersonal relationships.  In addition, she is an approved affiliate sex offender treatment provider.

Jessica incorporates an integrated approach to counseling which is focused on meeting the individual needs of the client.  She is trained in a variety of theoretical approaches and techniques including challenging maladaptive thought patterns contributing to mental illness through identifying core beliefs and faulty thinking.  Also, relaxation techniques such as guided imagery, breathing techniques, and meditation, as well as assisting individuals with developing a more positive sense of self and healing from past painful events.  Jessica is passionate about helping people find happiness and learning how to live up to their fullest potential.
